Ralph
Going to Brighton this weekend to watch the London to Brighton race finish. I'll be staying on the CC site but wife needs to use a mobility scooter so I need some advice about where I could briefly stop the MH near the sea front to unload. I would then take the van back to the site and cycle back to meet her. Going back should be the same in reverse. Anybody know?
Guest Tracker
If you type 'veteran car run' into Google lots of info comes up including some contact points which might be worth emailing or phoning as no doubt there will be provision for disabled parking in Brighton? Bazza454
Ralph,You could park for a short time at the Marina which is at the bottom of the hill from the CC site, either Asda or the restaurant car parks.
Ralph
Adsa sounds good but do you know: a) Does it have a height barrier? b) Is there pedestrian access to Madeira drive or do you have to go all the way back to the main road? I've looked on the aerial photos and I can't see the answer to either of those questions.
Bazza454
Hi Ralph,As far as I can remember there is no height barrier, but if they have recently introduced one at Asda, there is plenty of alternate parking around the restaurant areas. There is a seperate pedestrian walkway from the marina complex to the main seafront.
