It's not really an Aire but they allow motorhome parking and is quite handy and we felt safe there. The official aire is la Portel which is much further away. derek500 Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 We recently stayed in the Aire in the Auchan car park at Saint Martin Boulogne. If you park on the McDonalds side of the car park you can use the free wifi. Even when they closed up for the night at 10pm, they left the connection on. kelly58 Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 We stopped on the aire at Le-Portel last September just as a night holt before going to Calais and then ferry next day,because its ajacent to a sports complex its a bit noisy until it closes with cars coming and going but where it is situated we found it very safe and well lit.
