Geoff Bell Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 When I go to arm my Sigma Alarm I have to wait about 20 secs after closing the drivers door before it will set without setting off the loud warning beeps prior to full alarm activation. I cannot find any reference to this feature in the handbook as I would like to reduce or elliminate this delay. 20 secs is a long time when your in a hurry or its persisting down. Guest Tracker Posted December 13, 2007 Share Posted December 13, 2007 I think the doors lock and the perimeter alarm sets on activating but there is a delay on the interior volume sensors to enable you to disarm that part if you need - either if you leave the dog in the van or at night for perimeter security.
