Vernon B Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 The normally smooth running wheels of the Caravan Club's Travel Insurance department appear to have partially fallen off. I've just received my renewal notice for a Motoring & Personal Package policy to find that the premium had gone up by whopping £182 or 61%! Fortunately I had the old policy to hand and through discussions with the call centre was able to confirm that there had been a "systems fault". The new premium was in fact just £8 more than last year. Apparently I'm not the only person that may have been affected by this glitch and although it would be difficult to put one across the canny people on this forum do check your renewal notice carefully this year.
