Guest Neal Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 If it's any help to anyone out there, we've had US RVs for 17 years and been members of the CC for 17 years. Any site with a motorhome dump point is just that, a motorhome dump point! That is where we dump our tanks. I have had no trouble in all that time. If you cannot dump your tanks then it is NOT a motorhome dump point! Incidentally, virtually every site we've ever visited in Europe has some arrangement to dump the tanks. We've just returned (today!) from 3 weeks in France and visited more than 12 sites. All of them has a facility to dump. Regards Neal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Norma Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 Neal What you say is as I had believed. It was at one site (CC Yellowcraigs) they said it was for grey only. What I now think is that as caravan people, it would not occur to them what a motorhome dump site could be used for. So I shall continue to dump and not ask - making sure I clean up throughly.
