Don Madge Posted January 6, 2008 Share Posted January 6, 2008 Paul, April/May is usually a good time to visit, most of the snowbirds have gone home and the high season doesn't start until July. The weather is starting to warm up but you will still get a few showers. Free camping should not be a problem. I'll mail you some info that you will find useful.
