Stuart
We bought a new melamine crockery set at Peterborough. To date, three out of four beakers have cracked and leak hot liquid. Luckily, none has caused any injury but the possibility of the bottom of a beaker of boiling water falling off are frightening. This was just the plain madein china £14 or £16 a set job. All the dealers seemed to have them, can't remember who ours came from. Be warned. Stuart
Potty
Not had problems with crockery but somobody sent me pictures yesterday of the damage done to feet by cheap chinese flip flops. The area of skin under the front straps looked as if it had been burnt, in some cases almost down to the bone. Apparently it is the dye or paint used.
