Hi, I think that there is a Yahoo group that deals with full timing in a motorhome, all just google. But as far as servicing goes, I take it what do you do when your home is in the workshop, well book into an B&B, use a tent and make sure all the work needed is done during the summer.

Anyone out there full or nearly full timing? What do ya do if/when your van needs work doing or service? :-|

B-) I have been a Full-Timer for over 11 years. The last 7 and counting in an RV. Originally I had our RV serviced and repaired by so called specialists. They weren't. SO I found ALL the information required on the Internet to carry out all our own repairs and servicing. You can find lot's of information and fellow Full-Timers here:-

I have always wondered where do full timers stay while in the UK....

are there specific sites catering for long stays?

I remember speaking with a full timing couple who spent 21 nights (the maximum allowed) on a CL and would then move on to another for another 21. Occasionally they would treat themselves, (their words not mine), to an odd week on a Club site. They did stress that the CL's had to be in the £5 per night league, or less if poss. They also pointed out that they got some good discounts for staying the max 21 nights and returning regularly. They full timed only in the UK.
