Guest Mel B
If memory serves this is the 'single bed at the end' version with garage below. There's a B Class 504 - a bit smaller lounge area which has now been launched in the 'Classic' range as well so it makes it a bit cheaper but it won't be here until next year. We could've bought one of these Classic 504s at Dusseldorf for just under £40,000 in right hand drive form (around £1500 extra than LHD). I think the 504 will retain in this country at around £45,000. Not sure if there is a Classic version of the 524. The down side with buying abroad is that the PX prices are low so it's a bit swings and roundabouts, what you save on the cost of the new van is somewhat negated by a bad PX. Guest Ian Stewart
Surely if you buy abroad once to save money, when it comes around to changing the vehicle, you go back to the Continent ? In which case, the PX prices are in line with the Continental prices. On the other hand, if you sell your motorhome in the UK and nip across with no PX . . .
