Tony Jones
I've got a pic of one like it, but I'd rather post the real thing when the time comes. It's a "Cavarno" by Horizons Unlimited, distrib by Roy Wood Transits http://www.roywoodtransits.co.uk/motorhomes/index.html - so have a look at its brothers and sisters if you can't wait! BGD
Tony - look good mate!. Are they still promising to stick to the original delivery date when you ring them to chase them every single day? Do they know that the whole future of their brand and reputation (and possibly location in their next life) hangs on getting H2 to you on time and perfect!! 'Specially as I trust Clive H is gonna do that article on you and H2 for the Mag....................
Tomo3090
Tony, we have just started our clock! But we are on 4 or 5 months and counting. Any tips please on how to fill that time. Do you talk about your new van everyday? Do you plan trips and possible stopping points? Do you think " What have we done? all that money?" Have you cut pictures out of your van just to weigh up how good it looks? Do you look at each other and giggle! Not that we have done any/all of the above, I was just wondering! :-D
BGD
Tomo - not yet maybe, but I bet you will start doing 'em soon when the weather perks up......... :-D
Tony Jones
We had 4 months to wait when we ordered. I've got a pic of a similar van as "wallpaper" on my phone, and yes, we've planned our first trip (we booked online with Norfolk Line, and when we asked by phone they said just repeat your surname in the "reg no" field. don't know if other companies do the same). We don't talk about it EVERY day (either on here or to each other) but it does get mentioned from time to time. Main thing is, find something to keep you occupied (that's a polite way of saying "get a life"), so the time doesn't drag too much. When it all gets too much to bear, make full use of the "support group" on here - they don't wind you up too much! Tony
Clive
We haven,t placed the order yet!!! Sulking this end. Still waiting for the Euro/GBP exchange rate to get back to 1.45.
Tony Jones
Clive - 2008-02-01 9:30 PM Still waiting for the Euro/GBP exchange rate to get back to 1.45. Don't do that - there will be no oil left to run your van by then!!! buy a British one like mine instead, then the exchange rate doesn't matter (and you won't find some smart alec (sorry Judge) telling you later that he got it cheaper as a personal import!) Tony Jones
Just to let you know - I sold the Escort this afternoon, so all bridges now burnt. All I've got for the next fortnight is "Baby," my MkII Mini (who'll be having her 40th birthday this year!) (Except that my son has got a spare Escort for sale too, so I'll nick that if I need to get about much!) Tony

Syd
Hi Tony You posted on the 17th Feb saying 9 more days to go to your new van delivery I think you said earlier that you collect your van on 1st March so 17 days + 9 days = 26 days, I think there are 29 days in this month. Are you three days out or have I got it wrong, again. Cannot wait to see your pictures

However if we are part of the government we can have as many good days as we like as we are not paying for them!
