Vernon B
In the absence of any other replies Mary, I'd suggest you look in the lockers nearest to the externally mounted mains hook-up socket. V

Mary
Thanks I found a unit attached to the dash on the passengers side (its a LHD) and disconnected it. It had the following information: Calira - elektroversorgung EVS 15/12 automatic. Do you think I've found the right piece of equipment (!) The reason I ask is because I am having a problem with the leisure battery and the fact that it draws power from the engine battery thus making it go flat. I've been told that maybe this unit has been damaged due maybe to the previous owner using a generator to for power. I hope that makes sense ;-)
Clive
If you have it doesn,t sound like a Schaudt Elektroblok! Can you take a digital photo and post in on here? Does not the MH manwelle say where it is? C.
Frank Spencer
It's a German equivalent of a Zig unit. See here. http://www.caravanning4u.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5676 And here http://www.campingshop-plus.de/produktkatalog/Elektroversorgung,Ladeautomat,Calira_24_7600_produktkatalog_detail.html And here http://www.yatego.com/q,calira,elektroversorgung,evs
Clive
Its not even that, its just the charger!
Globetrotter
Its a charger, transformer and relay block all in one and is linked to its own compatable control panel so is similar to a more primitive Electroblock. I understand that Calira may repair these so it is worth contacting them. Dethleffs used Calira systems up until about 1994 when they switched to Cramer, moving to Electroblock only when taken over by Hymer.
