ike
Just back from the Caravan and Camping show in Glasgow. On display is a Bravia - a Slovenian conversion built on a Boxer - imported by Midgley (Techleisure?). I was impressed with the van. Does anyone know anything about the Bravia or the company? Thanks irene
Mel E
It would help if you gave the name of the Slovenian company - the model name alone doesn't ring any bells. Mel E ====

Derek Uzzell
Irene: There's a rather elderly Bravia-Mobil website (with an English-language option) on: http://www.bravia-mobil.com As you say, the UK importer seems to be a company called TechLeisure, based near Silverstone. I can't find a website, but there are more details on: http://www.motorcycletrader.net/display_article.aspx?OBJ_ID=295214 You need to consider very carefully whether it would be a wise plan to choose a make of motorhome that's virtually unknown in the UK and (I assume) with a very limited spread of dealerships. Tomo3090
They sell them at Spinney Motors, Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Jct 18 M6. They have a few on display there. They don't look too bad at first look, but I don't know any more about them.
empress
Spinney stock Bavaria motorhomes, are these the same as "Bravia"? If so I have an idea they may come from the same firm as the Frankia. Empress
ike
Thanks for your replies and help. Don't think the Bavaria is the same as the Bravia. The bravia-mobil web site was useful - albeit in a little pidgin English. I'm awaiting a brochure from the importer. I take the point about buying a van with limited distribution dealer. There was a little snippet in this month's Which Motorhome about the van. We'll continue our research. Cheers ike
Derek Uzzell
empress: Just for the record, there's no connection between the Bravia-Mobil and Bavaria brands of motorhome. Bavaria is part of the Pilote Group that currently comprises the following makes: Bavaria City Van Frankia Le Voyageur Mooveo Pilote RMB (I think that's the lot!)
