parkmoy
I've read previous posts on this but I'm still not clear whether tv's designed for mobile use need a regulated 12v or whether the tv itself can cope with the variable 12v supply in MH's. Does anyone have a definitive answer to this?
GJH
We bought One Of These from Maplins last year when they were on special offer. It works perfectly on both 240 volts and 12 volts with no need for any regulator. Graham
Den
i understand that when the internal charger is on voltage can exceed that of the tv.i fitted a 12v reg permantly connected no problems.flat screen tv's do need a stable voltage.
davenewellhome
If the TV in question is truly designed for mobile use then it will have a built in internal regulator. The majority of sets that have this are of the sub 11 inch screen category, the Avtec or Oppo models are an exception. Ask the vendor if it requires a 12 volt regulator for use from your motorhome's 12 volt system and ask for the reply in writing then if it goes pop you can slap it back to them. D.
