Power converter

Hi Brennan,

It could be anything.

Have you checked all the fuses associated with both the input and the output from the converter / charger?

Have you actually measured the input coltage with a meter in order to be sure its the converter/charger and not a supply fault?

If you are sure it is the "lump" then can you post on here all the nameplate data on it to give us a clue to the technology used and who made it.

It may well work out less costly to just purchase a replacement "lump" here in the UK (designed for 240 volt operation) than to get the old one repaired. But if you can give us a clue via the name plate data I can ask my cousin who also has an RV and lives in Houston Texas if spares or perhaps a circuit diagram are obtainable. But don,t hold your breath!
