You've had a busy day Dean, I have been off line all week because I have been at my daughters looking after her 2 miniture dachounds while they are in Eygpt so have had no internet connection, no e mails or anything so got fed up today and went and got one of those 3 modem connect things and it works great, only trouble was while we were looking around we seen a new lap top, could not resist it, its got finger reconition logging on, and high definition something or other, got loads of things on I'll never know what to do with, I'll have to pester Janine for info. so thats what I have been up to.

Tracker wonders why to have a blog type thing. he loves a bit of gossip :D

See how that goes. Carol.

off out tonight into hucknall with my old mates, i know im 39 but i still have the same mates i grew up with and still go for a lads night out most fridays. hucknall is where i grew up we moved to ravenshead 5 years ago only about 3 miles away. hucknall is where lord byron is buried, ravenshead is next to where he lived in newstead abbey, which was featured in some griff rhys jones restoration programme a year or so ago, and also bill odie and the springwatch team were there last year.

What were your daughters dogs doing in Egypt :-( :D

Egypt probably not the best place for the dogs, though when I take them for a walk in this rain and wind we have here I wish we were in Egypt. apparintly its 28 degrees there. Carol.

computer crashed saturday took to pc world to be told the mother board had frazzled and would be just as cheep to buy a new one. :-( i think id much rather be without a tv than the internet. its been like loosing my right arm over the weekend. i was meant to be taking the caravan back to lowdham today to put us a new blind on the back window but i thought against it having seen the windy weather forcasted, and being a total novice with towing the van

What happened to your PC then, symptoms etc? PC World are not always the best place to go with a wonky PC ... not in there interest to mend it really .... tell me what happened and I'll ask my hubby what he thinks is wrong with it (he's good on that sort of stuff).

all that happened saturday am nothing would happen with the tower, just as if no power was getting to it, i did all the obvious change fuse changed leads but nothing so took it up to pc world, nice young chap told me to leave it with him untill sunday. we went back sunday and was shown the board was bubbling up and in his words frazzled. as it happens we were buying a lap top for trips away that day, so all in all an expensive day.

Hi Dean, have you started looking at Lap-tops yet, as you say with the Caravan they do have advantages, as you have no doubt from my recent postings we got a new one last week, the one we got we went for a couple of reasons, it has a harman/kardon music system on and a 17" TruBrite screen, also supposed to be excellent for games so we reckoned it will be like have a multimeda system in the lap-top, its a Toshiba X200, worth a look at, its also got a 320 gb hard drive so should be plenty of grunt in it, just a idea for a look.

Good time to keep the caravan in the drive for the next few days its getting mighty windy around here. Cheers Carol.
