Guest Ann Burt
During a clear-out I have discovered a complete set of 1987 copies of MMM. They make fascinating reading with reports on Devon motorcaravans, Mazda Suntrekker, Sherpa Trailblazer,Holdworths, Autosleepers, Autotrails and Autohomes. I note that in July 1987 you could expect to pay £1.73 for petrol in UK - for a gallon! I have found other odd magazines from the 80s and 90s and I see that by the time the July 1991 edition went to press a gallon of unleaded cost £2.13. It is a good job most of us have stopped thinking in gallons with today's prices. I can no longer give houseroom to these old MMMs. Since the sale of our trusty old VW Xplorer, they are a sorry reminder of happier times. Anyone interested in owning all or any of them should refer to my advert in Cashmart on the MMM website.
