Paula Watkins
Some prat has bumped our pride and joy, putting crease from drivers door to wheel arch.Anyone any experience of repairs ? Local company has done quote for bodywork but we're concerned about insulation being put back and bed base etc being put back right. Would it be better to go to motorcaravan maker/dealer ? Guest Tracker
What make and model of van is it Paula - and do you know from which materials the damaged panels are constructed? I presume you mean rear wheel arch?
RoyH
Hi Paula, If you don't know who did it and therefore can't claim the cost of a full repair and if there is no break in the skin then the easiest way is to get a suitable piece of beading and stick it along the crease to cover it and do the same thing on the other side so that it matches. There is as you say every possibility that doing a "proper " repair with it's consequent disturbance of insulation and sealing will cause more trouble than it's worth. It all depends on the severity of the damage. Any chance of a photo?

panagah
Might be one of those rare times when you can actually get something back for the ammount of money you spend. I would be sure your assessor will know where to send your van.
