Guest enid
Just been reading the replies. What Aires Bible? How can we obtain a copy?
Guest martin
http://www.campingcar-infos.com/index1.htm and search - to buy the material on a CD, updated every 2 months, click "comander le CD rom" on the left. There's also a French book "Le Guide Officiel Étapes Touristiques Camping-Car" published by 'Les Guides de Lousirs' annually and including a superb map. Available from the clubs I think - and certainly any French bookshop.
Guest Norma
Looking on the above website now implies there is an aire in Minehead. Can't see me getting down there to use - hope plenty of people do though.
Guest Derek Uzzell
Norma: I note that there's a follow-up comment to the Minehead entry saying this isn't actually an aire de services, just a campsite. (This is confirmed by visiting the Exmoor Camping website.) Presumably the campsite (like plenty of others in the UK) has a motorhome 'service point' of some sort, but there is nothing to indicate it's available to passing motorcaravanners. On that basis I can't see there's anything particularly significant about the Minehead site.
