Clive
I have tried all ways, 2G, Mobile dial up, 3G etc and the simplest and least expensive if your camp site does not provide a facility is to visit an Internet Cafe.
Mel B
I know that McDonalds in the UK does free wifi at it's outlets (from the car park) but is that same in other countries? :-S
Hymer C 9.
If you have BT as your provider, I have been looking into BT Fon, which is free if you are a BT user, they have a lot of hot spots in Europe all of which can be accessed free, look it up on BT Fon web site for more information, its worth checking out. enodreven
Hi, You don't have to be with BT to join FON, if you have an existing broadband connection at home and your ISP has no objections you can sign up to FON and obtain a wifi router from them. this will then allow you to connect to any of the FON wifi signals you find http://www.fon.com/en/ You can also connect to a FON wifi connection without using your existing broadband by pay as you go, when you find a FON signal just follow the registration process and you can pay on line, similar to any other chargeable hotspot through The Cloud or BT Openworld etc etc.
