Hopesy
We only take a LapTop with us on our travels for DVD viewing and surfing. In this months CC magazine a gadget is advertised called a CINERGY XS. Apparently you plug this into the USB port on your laptop and connect it to an aerial or TV feed allowing you to view freeview TV. Does anyone use such a device and if so pros and cons please? panagah
I have a USB tv dongle made by wintv. Similar sort of gadget. Problem is that when away I can hardly ever pick up anything on it. I know it works because whenever i test it at home it picks up loads of FTV channels. I susspect it is the fact that the MH tvariel is not man enough to do the job and get a decent enough reception. Also I have even tried it on CC sites with the ariel lead to no avail. I have found one or two places where it works but very few. I am now looking at satterlite. Guest peter
Go sattelite. we have not regretted it, they're cheap as chips now from Maplin . Or for a permanent dish from Roadpro.
