rossko
Still consider ourselves newbies but are now due to renew our insurance on our 1 year old Swift Bolero. Having a bit more knowledge now, we have been looking at the quotes more carefully than we did last year. The fiat warranty on the van includes AA recovery but the AA booklet that goes with it says that it only covers vans up to 23' long. So to our mind it is worthless. Have rung AA & spoken to 4 different people who cannot give us a definitive answer but are supposed to be getting back to us this week. Has anyone got to the bottom of this or are we worrying needlessly? Thanks

Thanks 8-) Peugeot Boxer 3 year breakdown has similar restrictions but I emailed Peugeot who said no restriction and please call AA for their input which was also positive. Upgraded the Peugeot 3 year to include fuel, punctures and lockouts. Policy document seemed to contradict but email again and AA confirmed no restrictions Copies in glove box! BTW many, perhaps most, breakdown organisation exclude these 3 items or require an upgrade. Some will only do a puncture if there is a servicable spare.
