Hi, following a link to "motorhomecraic" i noticed that they had a section called "show us your motorhome" - what a great idea - owners could post piccies, together with the good and not so good bits of their MH's?? it would really help us noobs when picking a new baby?

can i ask the community what they think to this idea?

Not a lot. You'll be suggesting rallies next!

In my youth the expression was standard conversation. Whether it be toys our woodland camps our life drawings or as you request 'picking a new baby'.

In reality I see it as being covered now from the many build errors that occur.

This link is to the Motorhome Craic section you refer to:

http://www.motorhomecraic.com/forum/index.php?f=19

The Out&AboutLive website includes a ‘reviews’ area that includes photos of a wide range of motorhome models. There are also many motorhome manufacturers’ glossy advertising brochures (new and old) that can be viewed on line and contain professional photos.

Photos can also be attached to forum postings (people use a variety of methods) and these are a couple of examples:

http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/photo-posting-problems-/40373/

http://forums.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Project-anyone-/40647/

Photos of faults, damage, etc. are certainly useful when a problem is being asked about and are occasionally provided, but such pictures will need to be linked to the inquiry and not be in an unrelated section.

I guess what I’m saying is that, although a specific section dedicated to vehicle-owners’ photos might be of real value and interest on, say, a custom-car website, I’m doubtful that it’s worth having here even though it would probably be easy for Warners to set up.
