Sorry I don't know how to post a link

The entries do not appear to have reference numbers

Juxt do what I did

Put in a general search in e-bay for motorhomes and they come up

The country of origine is shown as Italy but when you click on it the advert I get what appears to be an advert for childrens clothes

Reference numbers are on every ad Fred and tho admittedly small print, are easy to find. Scroll down to the section just below main photos where the tabs "description" and "postage and payments".....then look directly across to the right side of page where you will see eBay item number:123512717220

Just copy and paste the number/s of what you're looking at.

eBay item number:332917245665

Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.

Finally found a number and the ads behave different to as before in that more info is available.

Have you tried making a general search in e-bay and see what you find?

Has anyone managed to view the details of the items For Sale listed as being in Italy,

Some of the prices appear very good???????

Not just motorhome I wonder if it is some sort of agency selling items on behalf of owners

They're all scams - Classic Car section is full of them!

Very likely as that listing number Fred just posted has already been taken down!

Yes Fred as i regularly use ebay and AutoTrader as i've been looking for another van. Very rarely come across a mh or campervan advertised outside UK but the odd one or two that are give more than enough info to verify it as a genuine sale.

Anything a bit 'dodgy' is easy to spot.

It comes in handy now - so what difference will Brexit make?

Apart from making it more costly when we need to trade with the EU.

Whilst there is undoubtedly some junk on ebay there are some real bargains. During my time away this year my shower hose snapped off where it couples into the mixer tap. No problem as fortunately both ends are the same thread so i just took the shower head off and screwed that end to the mixers.

I thought i'd probably be able to source a new one enroute but didn't bother until back home. Searched ebay and found this; https://tinyurl.com/y9x8e35k

Given the amazingly cheap price i was sceptical about the "stainless steel" description but thought, 'what the heck', for that price it's worth a go! Arrived three days after ordering and sure enough it's exactly as described.
