Big Fire in Labour run Barking

Actually, I think it was Leavers to blame.

I'm sure I read that a campaigner for the Brexit Party who lived in the flats had started a barbie on one of the wooden balconies, and sprayed petrol on it to get his burgers quicker. Despite noticing that the flames had spread to the balcony railings, he was lured inside the flat by a mate who said he was watching a great video of respected journalist Tommy Robinson courageously defending himself by idiotting some random footie fan from behind.

By the time they recovered from their orgasms, the fire was well and truly out of control.

(Sorry, can't seem to find a link to where I read it.

:D )

Staggered to find this block of flats was only built five years ago but even more surprised at the amount of wood surrounding the things. At £300k a flat or £1000 a month rent for a 1 bed they're at the bottom end of the market so probably poor quality build and thrown up in a few days, even though the interior decor looks reasonably roomy.

Fortunately no fatalities and fire now under control. Well done LFB, Ambulance and Met Police.

Because they were built to building regulations relaxed by Thatcher and then further demolished by Pickles under his cutting red tape agenda - also known as appeasing our sponsors the house builders.

Most of the damage was done by Pickles burning "red tape".

In answer to your question because Blair was Thatcher Lite, still betrothed to big business.

Typical uninformed Tory stooge. Read the Telegraph article but cannot bring himself to admit that Tory policies introduced by Pickles - your policies - cost lives.

I know you should set up an inquiry like you lot normally do for their failures.

Built to housing regs and 'standards' eroded by Tory policies. Funny how you weren't concerned that Grenfell was built in the Tory run borough of Kensington and Chelsea and ignored that inconvenient fact.

He's got 'previous' so hardly unexpected.. Him and his boyfriend played the same blame shifting card in the long running Grenfell thread......ironically accusing anyone mentioning the Tory run RBKC of 'poliiticising'......the very thing they themselves did throughout that thread. Shameful, the pair of 'em.

Mmmm ... Doesnt look good ... Hope everyones OK ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-48574044 ... Labour run Barking

Two people treated for smoke inhalation.

Since you are trying to compare that with Grenfell presumably the Tory Government should send them £280 milion pounds so we have to pay the compensation for their mistakes, like we are for the wealthiest Council in Britain - Tory Run Grenfell.
