Protecting the NHS

Well well.....no surprises here then.

Tory MPs have stirred up a political hot potato by voting down a legal bid to 'protect the NHS' in a trade deal with the US.

Labour put forward an amendment to the Trade Bill which would have barred any trade deal which "undermines or restricts" a comprehensive public-funded health service, free at the point of delivery.

The amendment would also have banned any deal that undermined the ability "to maintain the quality and safety of health or care services".

It would have legally guaranteed the UK's ability to control the "pricing and reimbursement" of medicines.

Use the search box part way down the report to find how your MP voted. If they're among the rabble who don't care about our NHS....just remember to kick 'em out come the next election.

No prize for guessing which way that treacherous scumbag Johnson voted either.

Given his well established track record on lying and U-turning, only the naive would believe anything he says.

If only you would READ through reports instead of skimming over. The amendment would have provided legal security to the NHS against US drug companies seeking to get a foot in the door to charge their exorbitant costs. Irrespective of political persuasion everyone should be in support of ensuring our NHS is protected and kept that way.

Its like watching a slow motion car crash. Tories voting to give themselves less say as an MP and Johnson ever increasing his ability to just do WTF he likes and the sheeple Brexiteers like we see on here just accept it yet as we have seen above not that long ago some of them thought Johnson was a complete joke and not to be trusted. This is what Brexit has done to this nation, its turned half the country into Brexit at any cost raving lunatics and they cannot see the horror of what is unfolding before our very eyes.

So 'winning' a free house was enough to change your moral outlook?

Nope.........Because I'd all ready been debt free, mortgage free house owner and early retired for YEARS before that B-) .........

All of which was achieved despite semi retiring at 46 ;-) .........

So my wife inheriting a house has made not a jot of difference to my moral outlook :D .........

Unlike you Loony Lefties.......I know the difference between right and wrong........and I'm deffo always RIGHT >:-) ........
