Does that extra profit make up the 2k+ a year you'd lose when you Turkeys Vote for Christmas? :D .........

We would make more than that from your industries relocating up here to be on the right side of EU trade barriers :D

Then there is all the money we would save from not having to fund stuff like useless PPE... world beating test & trace...etc...etc - you can keep all that for yourself :-D

May I suggest you read the links you post *-)

"This is not a complete list of all locations that have RORO traffic."

How do you think we get to the Islands?

We must have more RoRo berths than England - and plenty of room for more (lol)

How long do you think it will take for your ferries to relocate from Dover?

A few hours longer to the journey to the EU is nothing when you know how long it will be and can factor it in. B-)

Drivers can have a nice kip on the ferry instead of sitting in a traffic queue :-D

I doubt a island ferry that can carry half a dozen trucks is going to entice businesses to move to Scotland :D ............

I guess you could build a ferry port at Rosyth ;-) ...........

Assuming someone will lend you the money >:-) .........

We've already got the ports, and the roads

Only need a few more linkspans.

Could have them done as quick as your factories move up here.

Plenty of us with money abroad who would invest it here if BoJo wasn't going to screw it up :-D

Only problem is will there be any factories left in England

Another one going now;

from the ft;

'BASF, the German chemicals group, is closing a UK plant and moving the work to France despite receiving £1bn from the Bank of England’s Covid Corporate Financing Facility — the biggest single company payout.

Shadow business secretary Ed Miliband condemned the move. “It appears the government has shelled out £1bn in taxpayers’ money with no questions asked. Taxpayers and workers in Teesside will rightly see this as economic negligence on the part of government,” he told the Financial Times.

“Why did the government not get guarantees about employment for such a large sum of support? Did they have any discussions with the company on these issues? The business secretary must explain.

Seems BoJo didn't bother to get any guarantees from these companies before giving them our money.

Now we have to borrow the money instead of them

So they can take our money, pay it to themselves in dividends, and move to the EU

Nice one BoJo *-)

Why would the 95% of UK businesses that don't export to the EU move to Jockland? (lol) (lol) (lol) ...........

Apparently its necessary to point out a 'UK business' could be a car factory or a window cleaner

and that the 5% will tend to be the big businesses employing thousands

Many of the small businesses will depend on the big businesses and follow them

You can keep the rest - if they want to stay *-)
