stevec176
Hi, Now here's a question from a friend, honest. He polished his van including his decals but unfortunately the black cals are now streaky, any one with a solution on how to clean them please. Thanks from not so warm Santiago de Compostela, brrr
Geeco
Steve, some of my decals have faded, lots of ultra violet this end of the country that loves to fade red tones. My solution is to use dashboard reviver silicon spray. It is only temporary but good for a month or so. I have been down at the Tracker today repairing a rock strike that has damaged the fibreglass body just behind the front wheel I did notice the black surface on the rear vision mirror arm was very streaky. I did recently polish the van recently so it could be polish residue. If that is your friends issue, suggest he washes off the area with soapy water then apply the dashboard reviver. Re cold you could try lying down in the square in front of the cathedral with the other pilgrims & seek devine intervention with the temperature. Having said that it is called the Costa Verde for a reason. Often with the rain comes the cold, awesome part of Spain though. Cheers,
monique.hubrechtsgm
Just go to a motorhome car wash and spray whit a special demi N water. Do that regulary in time in case of open air parking. That value should be inside any way at winter at about 15 deg c.. The paint on polyesther or ALU, or decalls needs a prof touch . It is all about the substrate on which it sits.
