Geeco
Robert, can not assist with the site you nominated. I had a look and the wording suggests it could be an Asian site so possibly pirate software. As an alternative I have recently purchased a new Tom Tom GO620 with maps for the whole world and 4 free updates per year for life. The price was around £130 on special from Tom Tom. Over time that would be a better financial deal I suspect and you do not need to worry about potential doggy software. Cheers,
flicka
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. At circa 5 to 10% of the cost of the the majority of the "truck" sat nav's on the market, it definately sounds too good to be true.
Billggski
Check the TomTom t&c, "lifetime" is usually as long as that model is in production, and if you don't update regularly the contract lapses.
fesspark
Thankyou all for your replies,I used the sat nav through France and spain this winter and found it excellent except a couple of new roads not yet mapped, one to the new Aires site near Pamploma.By the way this is a super site if you want to stop on route to spain or France. fesspark
