Passe Sanitaire

Does anyone have any info about the Passe Sanitaire? You seem to need it to enter a space with more than 50 persons e.g. a campsite in France. I have downloaded the app but cannot get it to work. Any help appreciated! The British Gov site says a uk vaccination certificate is acceptable. Any further info?

You will need a pass to go in anywhere, as said, bars restaurants, theme parks, transport, swimming baths, etc, etc,

on a campsite if its capable of housing 50 people or more you will need a pass, also for the bar restaurant, pool, etc.

That applies for all children over 12 years old as well. At the moment there are many departments with their own regulations including facemasks everywhere and some cities are back in curfew 23.00 - 6.00.

As a campsite owner the information we have been given is that people only need to show the pass once when they check-in.

This applies to all 18 and over, the rule for 12 and over does not start until the 30th Aug.

There is a lot of confusion around this where I am at the moment...I'm in the Charente. It was coming in as compulsory for restaurants on 1st August, now we are being told 9th August.

I have successfully installed the tousanticovid app on my phone and downloaded the NHS qr code into the wallet. But it says it is invalid, and work is in progress.

We needed it for two music events over the past two weeks... managed to get in with our paper NHS copies as our French tousanticovid app did not scan in successfully.

I have been in touch with the NHS app folk and had several interactions to get them to understand the issue... it has now been passed to a specialist team to look into.

I did use it to check into a restaurant yesterday scanning their code...so it works apart from our vaccination proof.

We had the same confusion, some said from the beginning of Aug and other info said the 9th but it became compulsory for some venues from July 21st.

Yes correct you only need to show your pass on entry to the campsite, they then have a record of your pass. Like many campsites in France they have restaurants so you get clients that are not staying on the campsite that have to show their pass to enter the restaurant.

I have eaten out in three differant restaurants over the last week and have had to show my passe sanitaire each time, paper or QR code on my phone.

You can not even go into hospital visiting or for treatment without one. ( except emergencies, then they give you a PCR test on entry.)

This 2 August 2021 “The Local” article may be of interest

As stated in the article, although NHS vaccine certificates can be uploaded into the TousAntiCovid app, they cannot yet (as of Monday August 2nd) be recognised by the TousAntiCovid Verif app.

This 30 July 2021 www.gov.gg webpage reports a more basic issue, as Guernsey-issued certificates do not currently include a QR code.

I think that may have now changed- we downloaded the TousAntiCovid app yesterday and it says it has recognised the NHS vaccination data. As we’re not in France it can’t be tested, but I wonder if they have now resolved the glitch?

Yes it seems they have resolved it. A friend of mine elsewhere in France had his paper copy of the NHS qr code scanned successfully at a restaurant.

And as above the app now says it will work with the latest scanning software.
