  1. I know I am prevaricating... I keep changing my mind about which type of motorhome to go for. I recently saw an ad for a panel van conversion with a fixed rear bed, does anyone know the length of such a bed? I know the van is 2050mm wide but, presumably, the insulation and covering reduce this somewhat. Any info gratefully received.

    ULEZ

Thank you all for your useful comments. It does appear that the future of non compliant vehicles may be limited and so a ULEZ compliant van is a good idea. Strangely, it doesn't yet seem to have affected price. I've been looking at VW Transporters and, even though second hand prices are a bit chaotic at present, the price increase from older to newer vehicles doesn't seem to show a marked a 'jump' from 2015 to 2016 vehicles.

    ULEZ

Hi we are almost at the point of entering the motorhome fraternity again after a 3 year gap. I’m wondering what effect ULEZ should have on the purchase decision. I know several cities in the Uk and France have adopted such a policy and, although it was never an issue in the past, I wonder if compliance should now be considered a ‘must have’. Any constructive views?
