Excel duo

That sounds interesting, had not heard of either of these companies before and we only live 15 miles from Derby. We are hoping our Mobile Service Man will be back from his holidays next week, so he may have heard of them. I shall look them up in the meantime. New parts are always expensive, don't know why as there are plenty of caravans and motorhomes about now. The new tap is over £100 as it is one with a retractable shower hose, just a tap would be quite cheap, I suppose we are lucky it has lasted 12 years.

We had a leak under bathroom basin tap which has rotted the plastic round the tap and now the hole for the tap is much bigger than it should be. A replacement is no longer available for our 2011 Auto Trail Excel bathroom unit, the wash basin is attached to a plastic pedestal which is in the shower cubicle. Anyone had a similar problem or have any idea if we could get the whole repaired. So far we have not found a basin that is the same size and shape, even if we could get the old one off without damaging the base it looks to be very well attached. We have tried a couple of shower tray repairers with no luck. Tried Auto Trail for advice and they were no help.
