We had this problem with our Starburst 2006. I took it to a car radio workshop can't quite remember what they did l think they fitted a couple of diodes. Problem solved.

I’ve read through every reply, and now have a strategy in mind to avoid running out of gas!

Hi went Ireland a few years ago never had a problem with sites in September. People so friendly. First time went from Fishguard, second time used to fast ferry from Holyhead to Dublin cut the sailing time by a good hour.

Thanks everyone for all your information. don't think I can return the gauge as it's longer than 30 days return policy.
Can anyone recommend a reliable gauge that does the job of telling you roughly how much gas you have left.

Hi I recently brought a PXIN gas pressure gauge for propane gas bottles. After connecting it to the bottle the indicator was in the green zone. When trying the cooker out it would not ignite. So took the gauge off the bottle reconnected gas bottle cooker working . Any Idea's please !!

I have just heard of a case where the Ad Blue caused the ECU Warning light to come on warning that there was only ten more ignition starts before a shutdown . The person concerned had to syphon the old blue out and replace with new and reset the ECU.So how old can you keep Adblue before replacing it.

The half mile is from the turning on the main road not from the main road to the Clam restaurant.

The Old Inn is correct. Never did find out the name of the seafood restaurant as to busy trying to get out from a nightmare.

We have just returned from Scotland . Driving towards Oban saw a sign for a seafood restaurant near Appin. Driving down a narrow road arriving at said restaurant it was heaving with cars and a couple of motorhomes parked either side of the road. We had nowhere to turn around as it is a dead-end. Eventually reversed out and did damage too rear end. Annoyingly half a mile further along the main road was a pub/in with a huge carpark that served delicious food.so the advice is do not go too the said restaurant anything larger than very small camper van.

Just a thought is the caravan and motorhome club going to lose a number of members due to there extortionate pricing. The Camping and a Caravan club give age related concessions so is far better value. Definitely considering cancelling membership.
