    Thanks Keith, was sure there was a way to remove it using just the key - £38 for this is nearly as much as the replacement lock cost but looks like I may have no choice

    Has anyone any idea how to remove the barrel from this type of garage door lock on a Chausson 717 GA Welcome? Replaced loads before (due to the shocking build quality of the locks) but the barrels have always almost fallen out - can't find and instructions anywhere on the web but I'm told, it should be possible using the key in a certain way? thanks in advance, this is doing my nut in
