  1. I think you have to have there card and as already said you can top it up at the terminal at the sites you stay at. Kevin
  2. I could not agree more with stevec176 i don't understand how the say fees need to go up but give money away i thought the CAMC was for there for members but it would seem not. Maybe its time to seriously think about leaving after 25 years in the club it would be a shame but they seem to be taking the micky.
  3. Be careful as it does not matter what our van weighs it is what the manufacture gross weight is plated at. Kevin
  4. Happy Christmas to one and all. Colin we too have friends in Paris over The festive period in there motorhome and heard from them this morning and they have come down with very bad cold/ Covid. Kevin
  5. So Brian what I said before about having to weigh and adjust your tyre pressure each time you use your van would be right. As for axle overload most vans if you add the total max load of both axles together it is normally well over the gross weight of the van so I dought very much you would overload either. As for water I always put in 2 x 20 ltr cans of water before travelling so it is always about the same. Kevin
  6. I thought this was about tyre pressure not vehicle weight. Kevin
  7. So working on the tyre pressure being on what your axle weight at any given time you would have to weigh your van and adjust the tyre pressure each time you use it. I would think that most van's either van conversion or coach build are very close to manufacture max weight most of the time. Kevi
  8. But surely the manufacturers figure should be what to use or why do they bother publishing them. Kevin
  9. Sorry I thought the original question was to get weight of van to determine tyre pressure. Kevin
  10. Hi all, i took my Peugeot Boxer to the weight bridge when we first got it, I only weighed the total weight which was 3440 kgs that was half tank water, full tank fuel, 2 people and everything to go away for 2 week's so not far from the max gross weight so i run the tyre pressure at the Peugeot recommended laden weight, surely that is the correct thing to do. Kevin
  11. Hi I was under the impression that the angles mort stickers were only required on any vehicle includidng motorhomes with a gross weight of more than 3.5 Tonnes. Could be wrong.
  12. Not sure where you are from but Propex in Ringwood Hampshire have a very good name and i do believe will also supply and fit. Kevin
  13. Port Solent marine and shopping allows Motorhome parking. It’s only 2/3 miles from the port and it’s free. Leave port on m27 keep in left lane follow exit for m271 then A27 towards Fareham under motorway left at lights follow straight on into parking. Post code is PO6 4TP. Kevin
  14. The Caravan &Motorhome club site Southlands is good been there a few times bus stop right outside for normal day bus then about a 10/15 minuet walk to main road for later in the evening bus and it's about as close too the middle of the island as you can get. Kevin
  15. Hi i thought you could only reset the leisure battery which i have done will check to see about recalibrating vehicle battery. Kevin
