Way2Go Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 . . . . apparently nothing until they fix the server!!!
ROON Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Is Lincolnshire still in the twilight zone, Way2go?
ROON Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Calling Lincolnshire and Way2go. Are you there? (Or is that the answer? You see NOTHING in Lincolnshire?) 8-)
Mick H. Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I went there once, long, long ago in the mists of time. Binbrook RAF Binbrook to be precise. Oh happy daze! Mick.
JohnP Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Mick H When were you at RAF Binbrook? What do they say about Lincolnshire folk "Lincolnshire born, Lincolnshire bred, Strong in the arm and weak in the head". That's what we used to say when we were kids, and we lived there!
kelly58 Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 I was born in Lincolnshire and still live here and proud to be a yellow belly http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/images/emoticons/icon_razz.gifhttp://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/images/emoticons/icon_razz.gifhttp://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/images/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
JohnP Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Hi Kelvyn I was also born in Lincolnshire, at Donington, just down the road from you. Still Gods own country in my opinion.
Syd Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 ROON - 2008-08-29 1:31 PM what's a yellow belly? (?) One theory is that this name stems from the battles of old when some form of identification was needed and so the Lincolnshire soldiers wore something Yellow on their fronts to identify themselves. Of course there are other theories, well there would be wouldn't there
