Guest Tracker
Without going out to the van for the handbook I can't explain but the handbook does tell you - or at least mine does!
Ned Swift
You need a "Mercedes Specialist" Garage which is a non-franchised one. Try looking in Yellow Pages for one, they have a machine to reset the light. Ned :-> Might cost you a tenner to turn the light off
nomad
Hi, I reset the one on my 2003 Ducato. It involves holding the trip button down while switching the ignition on/off. Sorry cant remember exactly. I have it written down somewhere - probably in the motorhome with the operating instructions for other gear. If I can find it tomorrow then I will reply Colin

malc d
This came up in January 2008. Page through to have a look in Motorhome Matters 23/1/2008 or use the search facility. A couple of people there have got rid of the 'spanner' successfully. :-| Enter word " spanner " in the search facility and tick box to search M/H matters forum for a year. davenewellhome
Its very simple, press and hold the trip button on the dash and turn on the ignition, keep the button pressed for about ten seconds till the spanner disappears. Ned Swift, why would a "Mercedes specialist non franchised garage" be of any help with a FIAT Ducato?? D.

HWO
Further to the Ducato spanner, do you get rid of the Ford transit service light the same way,or is it a different procedure?
