davos
just found yesterday our ace camera gives false view as if you look through monitor the view is reversed so if think someone is behind you on left left they are actually on the right behind you. anyone else had this problem? not spoke to swift yet due to juts finding out. its a bit scarely though as you could actually reverse into an accident rather than avoid it. Guest CAB
Hi There is usually a switch on the monitor which reverses the image to give a "morror" effect. Not a "Swift" problem but hopefully they left you a user manual? Clive
davenewellhome
Just to elaborate a little, the system in question utilises a Blaupunkt sat nav as the screen, I know this one personally :-S but don't know the answer :-( Hello Dave ;-) D. Derek Uzzell
davos, Probaly best to contact Blaupunct for advice. See: http://www.blaupunkt.com/UK/infoservices_5.asp The Blaupunct website offers a download of installation instructions for a rear-view camera, but I can't spot anything obvious in these that might allow selection of the correct image. I did notice that there appear to be different camera types providing either a normal or reversed image, so perhaps you've got the wrong camera fitted!
