Guest John Lewis
I am considering installing Gaslow refillable cylinders for convenience when touring abroad. Can anyone advise on the availability of LPG in Spain and Portugal.

Guest mike.T
LPG no problem in Portugal but it's a bit more than at home. I filled up end of November just before we came home in Portimao. Not seen any in Spain
Guest Colin Robinson
I think you may have a problem in Spain - I understand that they only fill commercial vehicles with LPG. In Portugal we were told about a garage on the Algarve that re-fills the red propane cylinders, which we used when our 6kg bottle was empty. So they may also fill the Gaslow bottles. It is near the village of Boliqueime, about 8 kms east of Albufeira on the N125. There is a sign on the right, that I think shows “GPL” (or something similar), and points up a narrowish road to the left. If you miss it, there is another turning about ¼ mile further on. If you reach the village centre, you have missed the turning!
