malc d
When we come out of a supermarket on the continent, we take the trolley full of goodies back to the van, and while my other half is putting everything away I often wander off to the car park exit to ' plan' the way out. I find this works very well as I think that "leaving carparks" is the time when we are most likely to end up on the wrong side of the road. Archiesgrandad
As a licenced minicab driver in London for the past twenty years, I'd forgotten that there should be a wrong or right side of the road. For our newcomer friends, can I also recommend that you get the Rough Guide, it's full of really good stuff for ordinary people as well as us, we wouldn't leave home without ours. As for touring in France, just cross the Channel and head off in any direction which has a touch of south in it, you can't miss it and you'll find everything you ever wanted, and loads of things that you didn't know that you could have.
