Guest Mike
Does anyone have any experience of leaving your motorhome abroad for a period. I am thinking of leaving my van with friends or in a locked office car park, retrurning to the UK for two or three weeks at a time, using cheap flights thus extending my touring range etc etc. So far I have come up against a brick wall from the insurance companies. It can be done with tuggers, obviously there is a lot more capital tied up in the motorhome, but there would be some terrific opportuniies for extended touring. Any ideas or experience out there? Guest Mel E
Bakers of Cheltenham are the only insurance broker I know that will continue to give cover for a motorhome left abroad. Their policy is usually one of the most expensive, but then you do get lovely extras like this. . .
