maggyd Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 The Camping and Caravan Club and Caravan Club have sites in the area have you tried there website? There is also one on the moors road but cant remember the name. There is also a caravan site overlooking the sea at Whitby near the golf club on the West side.
ROON Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Hi Bob, Try this link and then when yo9u have looked at this particular site (which I havn't been to by the way) stay on the same website and look at the others in Whitby to see if you find one you like the look of. Happy camping, Joy http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=4323 Or this one has even more on it http://www.ufindus.com/Camping%20And%20Caravanning/whitby
funcamp Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Hi BobBob, Have you had a look at our campsite finder http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/pitchfinder You can search by area and use the filters to find a site to your taste. There are independent reviews on the campsites as well as information regarding pricing, etc. Hope this helps, Richard (Out&AboutLive)
spottttttt Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Try Abbots house farm in Goathland this year, basic, but in a lovely part of the world. We were ringing round last June and were told the only place we would get a pitch was on the moon due to fantastic weather forcast We rang Abbots up and were told just turn up, we did, got a good pitch weather was, as forcast brilliant, best weather we had all last year, not a cloud in the sky temp. mid 20s We enjoyed it that much we booked for the following w. end, big mistake, hammered down with rain all w. end and freezing cold!
