Usinmyknaus
The sun was "cracking the flags" when I arrived here at CCC Walton at 3.00 pm now it's completely overcast and cool as I am about to cook outside - I must be a cloud magnet! Still at least it's not raining............ Bob :-(

J9withdogs
I thought that the weather forecast for the weekend was for showers followed by rain? Lovely here in Shropshire!

Basil
Just to cheer Martyn up, it looks like our 'summer' down here is over as we clouded up about an hour ago and a few spots of rain have just started to fall. Hope you are fairing better, mind you we could do with a bit of rain it has felt quite oppressive lately. Bas
howie
Right barrel of laughs you pair are and after two fine days start moaning about the oppresive heat and lack of rain. Better get used to it though as from the first week in June one the longest hottest summers to be recorded is about to begin and will only come to an end in mid October. Lovely. LordThornber
Well today marks our BBQ count day. The use of the BBQ is our gauge for the summer, we didn't get round to having one yesterday so summer starts today. I've mugged the van for a gas bottle, set it all up, got the meat out the freezer and a trip up to Asda will refill our wine lake. It's hotter here at present than yesterday and roll on, goodness it's overdue up here. Happy days at last :D Martyn
Mel B
Its been a stonkingly hot weekend here! So much so that the 'van's roof bulged and went all wavey!!! 8-) It's settled down now thank goodness (see other thread for more info). :-S It's turned much cooler in the last couple of hours and odd spots of rain are falling and we're due for a few downpoors according to the weather men/ladies over the next day or two. Its just so nice to have had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend for a change! :-D
Mick H.
Went to friends for a barbi on Sunday, sat out at 1.30 and went in at 8.00 in the evening, can't really beat that. A grand day was had by all. Mick
