For those of you keen marketeers out there, there is a book you can buy called "all the markets in France" which is quite informative, although from time to time some information may change. Also before you travel, or if you have internet on the move, you can go into the French websites (yahoo - internation - france - and google for Marchees or Vide Greniers (it means "open attic" and they are very often bric-a-brac rather than market gear - but quite interesting all the same) in a department or region and get all the info you need.
