vindiboy Posted November 10, 2009 Share Posted November 10, 2009 If you are travelling through France to Spain in winter and are worried that French Aires will be closed, worry not ,as even if the books say the Aires are closed in our experience you can still use them, you may not get water as it is often off, but you can usually empty your toilet ,and you can buy drinking water in the local shops .We were even invited to fill our water containers in the Tourist Information Office next to an Aire that was officially closed last year.
