howie
Sorry Dave, but after looking at the rule book i have no choice but to adjudge all previous replies as null and void. Not an easy decision to come to, but they all failed the following criteria. 1 They had nothing to do with 'Charades' 2 I did,nt know the answers. (but let us know anyway) Now if you,ve nowt else to do you can try this one. Clue. English Football Club. ....................................................... howie
All very well you having a moan Dave, but its the adjudicator's ( me ) duty to keep strictly to the rules, otherwise the whole thing will turn into a complete shambles. Ever so close Melanie. The club in question was of course 'Man Utd' who,s current ground was built on the site of the old pancake factory and who are now known by lovers of football the world over as 'The To ssers'. Sorry Mel, but after looking at the rule book i have no choice but to adjudge your answer as null and void. Not an easy decision to come to, but you failed the following criteria. 1 You did not name the actual football club. 2 I get another go. A nice easy one for the lovely Michele now, just to ease her into the game. Clue. Well known plant. ............................................... howie
Close enough Dave, though i,m still struggling to make the connection between Robert Plant and 'Keeping up Appearances. 'Acacia' (avenue) was the 'plant' i was looking for Michele, not Hyacinth which is a flower, so off you go Dave, but please, keep it simple. ;-)
