How about a little sort of cross word - no I'm not being argumentative -

as if...............

5 clues across and 5 clues down so imagine a little square of 25 boxes made up of 5 boxes down and 5 boxes across.

Clues - all answers have five letters.

Across; 1 - drink. 2 - magazine. 3 - puppet. 4 - blow. 5 - tool.

Down; 1 - vegetable. 2 - female sheep. 3 - chickens. 4 - oceans. 5 - often dropped.

I knew I shouldn't have answered - not good at this (no imagination).

OK

Which TWO games originated in a school in the town where I live.

Hint - one used a pig's bladder in a funny shaped ball, the other a leather-covered hard ball.

I'm pretty sure I have accidentally entered a parallel universe...

Welcome - most of us are already here!

How about Rugby Football and Aussie Rules Football?

It's late and I'm off for a few days down on the south coas - so here's the answer

The irony is that the original courts were demolished to make way for a sports centre and have not yet been re-built.

Hi Ria,

Still trying to figure the photo, the one with the young ladies.!

Can't seem to get away from it for some reason 8-)

But the lass who cant afford knickers, has only three fingers.

The one with the camera, only has one eye and what looks like a sever throat infection.

And none of them have a mobile attached to their ears, which must be very stressful for them all.

So am putting all my resources into this at the moment.

Are we talking about the young ladies, or us VIRILE young men on here.

If it's us VIRILE young men, I can let you know that me and my good lady participate very regular in the sport, every February 29th :D
