Oh bugger - does that mean I have to be inventive now - and I thought that the only thing deep and mysterious was J9!

How about a little sort of cross word - no I'm not being argumentative -

as if...............

 

5 clues across and 5 clues down so imagine a little square of 25 boxes made up of 5 boxes down and 5 boxes across.

 

Clues - all answers have five letters.

 

Across; 1 - drink. 2 - magazine. 3 - puppet. 4 - blow. 5 - tool.

 

Down; 1 - vegetable. 2 - female sheep. 3 - chickens. 4 - oceans. 5 - often dropped.
