Earthmover
hi, I have noticed that some of the LED's in my vans high level brake light are not working (8 out of 27). Is this likely to be terminal in the long run or can the duff ones be replaced. I am hoping it may be a damp issue as the quote for a replacement light is eye watering expensive. Any LED suppliers Web sites?. it's 312mm long x 15mm deep with 27 LED's. cheers Em.
flicka
Hi Earthmover You could try this site to see if anything is similar to your light, prices start around £24. http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/lights_rear.html and go to almost the bottom of the page. Brambles
I split mine open and replaced all the LEDs. Bought them from here. http://www.phenoptix.com/shop/ultra-bright-12000mcd-p-39.html I then used Marley pipe solvent weld to stick the casing back together again. Brambles
My brake light is 350 x 15mm and 35 Leds, I gave up looking for a brake light I could adapt as not this length. However as yours is shorter it is worth looking..also try Ebay.
