kenroyce
Having now checked over my charger and contacted the makers. The fault with the charger was the wiring loom was too short! this caused the plug that connects the 230 volt to the charger to move when my van was in motion. This in turn caused the unit to shot circuit and burn out the charger. This has now been fixed and to remedy the problem I have extended the wireing (as instructed by the makers). This appears to be a problem on many Autotrails so I suggest that owners check that the plug is seated correctly before connection to the mains. Thanks to all those that answered the first message. Although they made me more confussed than when I started. The one answer I took notice of was. HANDS OFF AND CONTACT THE PRO. Thanks :-)
