zeddykay
I'm thinking of fitting a bike rack to my Peugeot Boxer (06 older model). The rack suggested is Fiamma DJ200. Is it necessary to drill any holes in the back door with this rack? I'm a bit confused because one advert says that holes must now be drilled, but another one says no drilling necessary and they both appear to be the same items. As always thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge /experience
Mr. Grumpy
Do you have a van conversion or a coach built?
Brambles
Maybe this will help you. You just have to drill holes for security screws which probbaly is advisable but not necessary. http://www.fiamma.it/service/download/installation/CB200DJ.pdf If you back track on the link you will find other installation manuals and info http://www.fiamma.it/service/installation.asp

Guest JudgeMental
can probably find a rack that does not need drill fixing, but the problem with that is security, as rack with bikes can be sprung of.
Mr. Grumpy
If you have a tow bar fitted consider something like a Pendle rack which fits between the tow bar and ball hitch. The carrier bars come off when not being used and the whole thing, bikes and fittings can be secured to the tow bar with a cable or chain. They also tend to be cheaper than a Fiamma rack. With the basic system you cannot open the rear doors without removing the carrier bars but there are systems which can be dropped to allow the doors to open. neilmac
I'd recommend a tow bar fitted rack as well. Ours is by Witter and carries 2/3 bikes. No holes drilled and can be easily removed when not required.
